DC Motor is the most basic electro-mechanical equipment and well-known for its merit and simplicity. The performance of DC motor is assessed based on several qualities that are most-likely contradictory each other, i.e. settling time and overshoot percentage. Most of controllers optimization problems are multi-objective in nature since they normally have several conflicting objectives that must be met simultaneously.
