International audienceBased on substantial preclinical rationale, the restricted hematopoietic expression of the delta isoform of the phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase represents an attractive therapeutic target in B-cell malignancies. Its inhibition results in a direct antiproliferative effect on tumor cells as well as several modifications of their cellular microenvironment, all accounting for the potential therapeutic interest.
