International audienceCONTEXT AND OBJECTIVES:The Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs) are used incritical systems (aircraft,militaryapplications,automotive). They are sensitive to energy deposits (cosmicrays,radiationsetc.) or to electro-migration and other causes of destruction of some frames of the FPGA (permanentfaults). The faulty frames must be avoided by partial reconfiguration. The portion (boldblackrectangles) is composed off rames and correspond to a part of the application.--> Need for the evaluation of partial reconfiguration approaches for fault tolerance: reliability level/time before failure+bitstream size overhead
