International audienceThe present paper deals with the construction of a hyperelastic, transversely isotropic constitutive behaviour and its application in a finite element simulation of the thermoforming process for fiber loaded materials. First, a general expression of the strain energy function in terms of tensorial invariants is developed taking into consideration fibers induced anisotropy.
