Based on conditional sampling technique, isocontours of the recovered fluctuating vorticity within the initial region of coaxial jet of mean velocity ratio λ-1 = Ui/Uo = 0.3 under acoustic excitation at a Strouhal number of 0.84 show the presence of inner and outer vortices.
