The Adaptive Leadership Framework suggests empowering and supporting residents for person-directed care (Corazzini et al., 2014). Using this as a lens, we analysed data from “stakeholder engagement sessions” to describe different stakeholders’ perspectives about adaptive challenges facing residents. The data included group and one-on-one interviews with nursing home resident/families, staff, and administrators: the first round sought descriptions of challenges with care-planning processes and the second round sought feedback on an emergent conceptual framework.
