In order to realize a relief plan of a town, we carried out a study of the practices, needs and attents in visually handicapped persons. This pilot study confirms that visually handicapped persons may contribute to clarify the researches about urban space representations and space figurations. The mobility of these subjects depends on a combination of personnal and social factors, such as the personnal autonomy and the policy of the town's accessibility. To move in the town, the pedestrian use différent kinds of perceptions involving individual adaptive practices based on cognitive strategies.
