L'étude pratique des plans de ville

In keeping with the italian example, over the last 20 years in France research has developed on the relationships between architecture and the town. Based on typomorphology, this research has renewed both the analysis of urban fabric and construction practices. By attaching importance to the description of the territorial logic which structures the urban fabric and to the explanation of the processes of building and informed of practices and techniques, the approach to urban forms is inevitably diachronic and open to complex determinations.Suivant l'exemple italien, se sont développées depuis vingt ans en France les recherches sur les relations entre l'architecture et la ville. Basées sur la typo-morphologie, ces recherches ont renouvelé tant l'analyse des tissus urbains que la pratique constructive. En s'attachant à la description des logiques territoriales qui structurent les tissus et à l'explication des processus d'édification informés des pratiques et des techniques, l'approche des formes urbaines est inévitablement diachronique et ouverte aux déterminations complexes.Panerai Philippe.
