The purpose of this study was to describe the planning, implementation, activities, and results of using the technique of writing narrative discourse brainwriting. This research method is qualitative with the form of classroom action research. This study was conducted 3 cycles. The subjects were students and teachers of SMK Negeri 5 North Singkawang in the school year 2015/2016 , the number of students by 28 students. Based on the results of the study concluded that brainwriting technique can improve the quality of the learning process, especially planning, implementation, activities and students\u27 writing. This is evident from the data obtained in the planning of the first cycle of 76.66 % (good), the second cycle of 83.33 % (excellent)...
