There is a significant difference between calculated load bearing capacities of three-dimensional nailing plates and the values received by tests. It is the subject of the Author’s research to improve this state by developing the new European Technical Approval Guideline based on calculation method assisted by testing. The method combines both experiments and simple calculations advantages. The method is more effective compared to experiments and more accurate compared to simple calculations
