This paper examines and reviews themed work and projects in the realm of preschool. By interviewing a group of preschool teachers and other people in leading positions within the occupation a basic understanding of how and why themes and projects were used emerged. The answers were quite similar and gave a detailed understanding of the different reasons why the work was designed in such a way. The people interviewed implied that the main reason was that they wanted to take advantage of the children thoughts and let them influence the direction of the learning experience. That everyone within the preschool, kids and adults, benefit from learning together in unison. Together as a group they explored and discovered topics that the children dee...
