Objective: to assess trends in the overall and primary incidence of rheumatic diseases (RD) from by visit rates in Russia in 2015–2016.Material and methods. The incidence rates were analyzed on the basis of the data presented in the reports of the Ministry of Health of Russia on adult mortality rates in 2015 and 2016.Results and discussion. The analysis of adult morbidity rates associated with musculoskeletal diseases (MSDs) revealed a certain downward trend in Russia over 2015–2016. The total number of registered patients with this pathology in 2016 amounted to 16.6 million people, which were 266 thousand people less than in 2015.
