The work of an opera singer on the opera part has a synthetic nature and combines the efforts of the singer, conductor, director, stage scenographer. The author of this article studies different aspects of this process on the basis of her experience as a soloist of the National Opera. These aspects include individual work on vocal techniques, breathing, articulation, sound qualities, detailed analyses of the score, dramaturgy, the parts of other characters etc
