Office hysteroscopy results in recurrent ivf failures

OBJECTIVE: To evaluate whether endometrial pathologies could be occur due to hormonal theraphy in patients with recurrent Invitrofertilization (IVF) failure and to report our hysteroscopy findings. Design: Retrospective Setting: All of the patients were primary infertile. Hysterosalpingraphy was normal, intracavitary pathology was not seen before IVF cycles. All of the data were obtained from patient’s chart. Patients: One hundred and fourty five patients who have two IVF failure Interventions: Office hysteroscopy was performed before third cycle. Main Outcome Measures: Hysteroscopic findings and endometrial biopsy results RESULTS: Of the 145 patients, 37 ( 25,5 %) have intrauterin pathologies, 23 were endometrial polip (15.8 %), 14 were intrauterine adhesion ( 9.7 %). 108 were normal ( 74,5 %) CONCLUSIONS: in patients with recurrent IVF-ET failures. Hormonal theraphies and embryo transfer procedure could be induce endometrial pathologies. In patients who wasn’t seen intrauterine pathology before IVF-ET cycles, Office hysteroscopy could identify new developing intrauterine pathologies
