The infrared spectrum of the Cu(II) complex of L-histidine (L-His) of composition [Cu(LHis) 2].1.5 H2O, generated at physiological conditions, was recorded and analyzed in relation to its structural peculiarities and by comparison with the spectrum of the free amino acid.
