UID/SOC/04647/2013In this paper the issue of food production will be tackled from a geographical perspective, which intends to analyze the changes occurred in the life's pattern of the so-called most developed societies, that has driven to an unbearable pressure on the natural resources and is affecting the health of the planet and of ourselves. Moreover it will be discussed how efforts to undertake transition into creating a more sustainable model, can also contribute to mitigate and eventually eradicate hunger in the world.publishersversionpublishe
