International audienceThe Cave of El Castillo in Cantabric Spain is one of the major European prehistoric sites, both from an archaeologic and an artistic point of view. Its stratigraphy extends indeed from the Lower Palaeolithic to the Bronze Age, and its walls are decorated by thousands of painted, drawn and engraved motifs. The complete study of the wall decoration device is being redone by Marc Groenen since 2003. The 3D digitization of the cave is part of the study.
