The ESM approach: 8 mechanisms to efficiently support eco-ideation

International audienceOne of the main challenges of this eco-innovation process is the generation of ideas taking into account both environmental and societal positive impacts through adapted stimulation mechanisms. This paper introduces the concept of Eco-ideation Stimulation Mechanism (ESM) as a 'meso' ideation mechanism offering the designer a compromise between a broad and systemic reflection, and a technical-oriented vision to keep an efficient stimulation.
