With the increasing penetration of intermittent renewable energy sources (RESs) into microgrids, the original operation mode of power generation determined by load demand faces severe challenges due to the uncertainties of the RESs power output. The electric springs(ESs), as an emerging technology has been verified to be effective in enabling load demand to follow power generation and stabilizing fluctuation of RESs output.
