This work proposes to include basic concepts about strategic analysis in goal modelling, in order to link software solutions with organizational strategies. For modelling the software-strategy alignment it is suggested to extend the Goal-oriented Requirements Language (GRL), which is a graphical notation considered as a standard into the Requirements Engineering field. This proposal, named GRL-SA (GRL focused on Strategic Alignment), comprises: 1) the inclusion of fundamental concepts relative to strategic management (vision, mission, courses of action) and 2) the assignment of an abstraction level to each goal considering its scope.
