Investigation of Mergers in Terms of Human Resources and an Example of Application

Businesses may grow by acquisitions in order to protect their assets, to compete and to synergize in today’s global competitive environment. This kind of growth occurred among the businesses varies according to the different criteria. While businesses aim to growth achieve in order to increase their economic profitability, it is necessary to consider the human factor which is the businesses’ building block. As people working within the different businesses will continue to work within the same business culture after the business combination, the importance of human resource management is an undeniable truth in businesses for ensuring employees’ adaptation during of the merger process. The aim of this study, the impact of the problem occurred as a result of ignoring the human resources management is investigated.
