This paper is offering both theoretical and practical framework for rethinking multiculturalism from local perspective. The main hypothesis is that thinking multiculturalism has its own peculiarities that defers from society to society and that those should be taken into consideration when thinking of this phenomenon. Our claim is that every concept of multiculturalism is derived from specific local circumstances and thus addresses the problems connected with those specific circumstances. Thus, as one can see, here in Macedonian circumstances we do have specific multicultural challenges but we lack specific theoretical response and practical solution to those challenges.
