It is undeniable that the studies on Acehnese idioms are still limited. Thus, the researcher was interested to investigate the forms, the meanings, and the functions of Acehnese idioms used on basis of Pidie dialect. This research was intended to analyze the forms, the meanings, and the functions of Acehnese idioms on basis of Pidie dialect. This study used qualitative research with descriptive approach. This research was conducted in Pidie and Pidie Jaya.
