International audienceDual phase (liquid-gas) direct detection xenon experiments have recentlydemonstrated their exceptional capabilities for rare event detection. Theyexamine the interaction of dark matter particles through their scatter offnuclei in the target. This technology currently achieves the most stringentlimits on WIMP (Weakly Interacting Massive Particle) searches: it is evolvingrapidly since the last decade and is expected to continue leading the field. Themost recent results from LUX, PandaX and XENON Collaborations are reviewed,focused on dark matter sensitivity limits
