Strategies to overcome communication deficiencies in achieving sustainable farming systems

Fundamental to adjustment at farm level is effective communication among government policy-makers, agricultural scientists, educators, agri-business and the farming community. Deficiences in the communication process are identified. Strategies for disseminating technological innovations which lead to sustainable systems are discussed.
