Historical Notice: The emblem of the Franciscan Order (Capucines) is presented here in excess, since it is not a heraldic monument proper. The crossed arms of Christ and St. Francis are presented against a cross in the background. The Capucines were established in Naxos since 1628 and this particular church was built in 1655-1658.Notes: Photo Kostis Kallivretakis,
