In an attempt to improve the teaching of french in Lebanon, we have tried to analyse the situation of the french language in our country (the origins of the relationship between the lebanese people and the french language, the teaching of this language in Lebanon, the definition of its status) and to carry out an enquiry with the teachers of french to study the conformity of their pedagogical practices to the status of the french language.
