Summary of parallel session B1: relativistic astrophysics

The B1 parallel session on relativistic astrophysics at GR-18 contained an impressive variety of papers on key astronomical topics. Many of the papers involved sophisticated applications of general relativity and mathematical physics to areas of current interest in astronomy.
