The possibilities of restructuration in the early industrialized north-Hungarian region

Borsod county is one of the crisis areas in Hungary. The valley of river Sajó is heavy industrial district. According to the international experiences there are four most effective developing or structure changing strategies which may be suitable for the restructuration of a western-type market economy. In the countries of the Eastern-block the situation is more complicated. The author points out the traditions and social background of economy. The task is to demolish the structures of the Stalinism and to build up a new market oriented economic system.La province de Borsod est une des régions critiques en Hongrie. La vallée de la rivière Sajó est un centre de l'industrie lourde. Selon les expériences internationales dans les pays occidentaux il y a quatre stratégies efficaces pour la reconstruction d'une économie de marché. Dans les pays orientaux socialistes la situation est plus compliquée. L'auteur indique les traditions et conditions sociales de l'économie.
