About the evolution of the heritage of buildings in the textile industry in some urbanized areas of the Nord - Pas-de-Calais. In the formerly industrialized areas, the closing down of so many factories led to an increasing recession ; in order to create a new balance, it is necessary to do research in inventing a new strategy of development and reorganizing spaces. The areas unused by firms and factories can be assets for local communities, in spire of the numerous difficulties that are to be overcome. But, there is a strong competition among towns and it will probably grow stronger when the European frontiers open.Dans les régions anciennement industrialisées, la cessation d'activités a provoqué un mouvement en spirale de récession cumulative ; la voie vers un nouvel équilibre passe par la recherche d'une stratégie de développement et par une réorganisation spatiale. Les espaces libérés par les entreprises peuvent alors devenir des cartes-atouts pour les collectivités locales au-delà des handicaps à surmonter.
