Has the link between the secular, equality of the sexes and inclusivity been created by the French media or is there a theoretical and historical basis for the connection between these three things ? Since the French revolution there has been a body of secular opinion which has demanded equal rights for women and an inclusive education system. Those who shared these views were the precursors of a secular feminism which existed during the Third Republic, for whom inclusiviity was an unassailable belief.
