Les violences à l’école primaire vues par les élèves : une face peu connue du phénomène

The aim of this article is to present the first results of a quantitative research dealing with violence in primary schools. This phenomenon is approached from three main directions ; the perception that all involved have of the level of violence in their school and of the forms it takes, declared victimizations and self-reported violence. The authors’goal is to convey the point of view of the individuals, namely, in this case, of the pupils, with reference to the fondations of the sociology of interactions, especially relevant to the study of daily schoollife. This sems marked by conflictual interactions between peers wathever the schools and their ranking, even if the latter does affect the phenomenon.
