Our research examines indicators and conditions required for pupils coming into a scientific culture in elementary school. First, we consider that preparation for scientific learning needs pupils to move from everyday world into scientific world ; then, this scientific acculturation processes consist both in building scientific knowledge and in appropriating specific uses of this knowledge, of which uses of language. The aim of our study is to characterize scientific acculturation processes in order to understand how involve pupils in scientific culture.
