L’apprentissage coopératif : un modèle psychosocial sous-jacent à ce genre d’activité collective ?

Cooperative learning is a particular type of group learning that is likely to reveal a form of social psychology different from that which is traditionally shared between the functionalist and genetic models. The analysis of the functioning of such groups shows how their participants - in this case, pupils involved in a writing activity - organize themselves in order to grasp the reality that they are discovering. Neither in terms of convention or invention, what type of relationship brings them together in this reality ? This article throws light on this issue and perhaps suggests the existence of a third form of social psychology inherent in such activity.L’apprentissage coopératif est une méthode groupale bien particulière susceptible d’être le révélateur d’une psychologie sociale non moins singulière, champ scientifique traditionnellement partagé entre les modèles fonctionnaliste et génétique. L’analyse d’un tel fonctionnement groupal donne effectivement à voir, exemple à l’appui, des acteurs (en l’occurrence des élèves concernés par une activité d’écriture) qui s’organisent pour appréhender une réalité qu’ils découvrent. Ni dans la convention, pas plus dans l’invention, quel type de relation les lie à cette même réalité ? Des éléments de réponse à cette question sont apportés dans cet article, éléments peut-être à même d’étayer une troisième voie dans le champ psychosocial.Baudrit Alain.
