Hahnemann (1755-1843) and the pharmacists – Hahnemann’s system extolled a new conception of medicinal action to which an odd making process was added. So works of chemists concerned him very early, and he translated some of these pharmacists as the french freemason and philalethe Demachy, the french mesmerism’adept Lanoix, and van den Sande of Brussels about adulteration of medicines. He also red Lemery, and Simon Boulduc. He believed that the latter expressed the homeopathic idea. He also translated scottish dispensatory and Materia medica such as Cullen’s in 1790 and D.
