Large blue butterflies : studies in conservation biology in the Réserve naturelle nationale du Marais de Lavours (Ain, France). -The Lavours marsh is one of last French wetlands where the three Maculinea species live. Two of them M. teleius (Bergstrasser, 1779) and M. nausithous (Bergstrasser, 1779) are listed in appendix II and IV of the Habitats Directive and appendix II of the Bern Convention. They are with M. alcon (Denis & Schiffermuller, 1775) strictly protected in France.
