Evolution des systèmes agraires bwa et pougouli de Pô-Ouest, Burkina Faso

The Evolution of the Bwa and Pougouli Agrarian Systems in Pô-Ouest, Burkina Faso -The region of Pô-Ouest (Bougouriba Province) has two distinct agricultural systems : the Pougouli system, founded on a cutting up and dispersion of land, but still attached to a self-supporting economy, and the Bwa system, based on grouping fields into a «whole» and opened to a network which favors the growth of trade relationships. This difference in the objectives pursued appears as a sign of inequality of situation, an inequality tied to the communication network and at the level of the development of productive forces, thus making of the Bwa area an attractive economic pole for the Pougouli populations.La région de Pô-Ouest (Province de la Bougouriba) présente deux systèmes agricoles : le système pougouli, fondé sur un morcellement et une dispersion des terres, et encore bien attaché à une économie de subsistance ; le système bwa, basé sur un regroupement des champs en «bloc» de culture et ouvert à un circuit qui favorise le développement des rapports marchands. Cette différence dans les objectifs poursuivis apparaît comme la marque d'une inégalité de situation, inégalité liée au réseau de communication et au niveau de développement des forces productives, et faisant ainsi du terroir bwa un pôle économique attrayant pour les populations pougouli.Nebie Ousmane.
