From primary to secondary school : links or breaches between extra curricular practices and writing practices in school ? Christine BARRE DE MINIAC, IUFM de Grenoble -LIDILEM (Université Stendhal Grenoble 3). We present here data from three enquiries on elementary, middle and high school pupils. In all three cases, the pupils were questionned on their writing practices outside of school on the one hand, on the way they perceive and analyse the practices and exigencies in school on the other. The results show that the problematic of the breach and the continuity between school and non-school writing is present through out the whole of their scolarity.
