Fifteen years on... A look back at the research into the didactics of spelling. As early as the late seventies and during the whole of the eighties, the didactic objectives of the research carried out by the INRP primary school research teams couidn't afford not to take into account the cognitive dimension of the pupils as subjects. This was especially true in the case of spelling.
