The world theatre : social practices in professional writing and teaching writing at school. Alain ANDRÉ, Aleph-Ecriture, Paris. The author responsible for the Aleph writing workshops is the co-director of a piece of research in the didactics of school subjects. Entitled From writing at school to professional writing, this research cornes within the framework of a series of questions focusing on the usages of writing. Carrying out a study of the workshops in professional writing, which were held for the first time in a school establishment, should enable us to analyse more accurately the modifications which have been made regarding the pupils' relationship to writing both as a piece of work as well as a strategy, thus enabling a more precise analysis of the relevant pedagogical variables. The article, which is written from the point of view of the research leader, analyses an aspect of the method used by the members of the Aleph team : the study of cases of professional writing with a view to the teaching of writing at school level. It describes a procedure which simulâtes and analyses these practices within the framework of the writing workshop. The workshop's mechanism - recounting the practices and using role play work - ensures that it functions as an analyser of the participants' writing practices. The procedure allows for : the involvment of the team member as well as the participants ; interaction between dimensions of the act of writing which are strategic and personally-socially meaningful and those which are formal-methodological ; the decentring of the participants ; the development of individual projects and the rewriting of work produced ; the opening up of the teaching of writing to practices in current use in French society.L'auteur, responsable des ateliers d'écriture Aleph, co-dirige une recherche-action en didactique des disciplines. Intitulée «De l'écriture scolaire à l'écriture professionnelle ». Elle s'inscrit dans une thématique de questionnement centrée sur les usages de l'écriture. L'étude d'ateliers d'écriture professionnelle conduits pour la première fois dans un établissement scolaire doit permettre d'affiner l'analyse des modifications produites dans le rapport des élèves à l'écriture en tant que travail et en tant que stratégie, et donc celle des variables pédagogiques pertinentes. L'article, écrit ici du point de vue du responsable de l'intervention, analyse un aspect de la méthode utilisée par les intervenants d 'Aleph : l'étude de cas d'écriture professionnelle, traités en vue de la formation à l'écriture dans le cadre scolaire. Il décrit une démarche de simulation et d'analyse de ces pratiques dans le cadre de l'atelier d'écriture. Le dispositif de l'atelier, grâce au récit de pratiques et au jeu de rôles, assure ainsi les fonctions d'un analyseur des pratiques d'écriture des participants eux-mêmes. La démarche autorise : l'implication de l'intervenant comme des participants ; l'interaction entre les dimensions stratégiques-axiologiques et méthodologiques-formelles de l'acte d'écrire ; le décentrement des acteurs ; l'élaboration des projets personnels et la réécriture des productions ; l'ouverture de l'enseignement de l'écriture sur les pratiques en cours dans la société française.André Alain.
