The collections of Boulogne glassware, which rank among the most important in French museums, as Morin-Jean said so explicitly in its survey of Roman glassware published in 1913, have aile but sunk into oblivion since World War I. Before producing a systematic inventory of them, we shall introduce here a very important piece, which deserves quite particularly to be brought to the view of both specialists and laymen.
