This article is a case study about 58 394 migrants observed in a small belgian central place between 1846 and 1900, thanks to the registers of population which are an exceptional source. The analysis attaches a lot of importance to the methods of mobile populations description, more particularly by the resort of "a geographical information System". Only a part of the results is set out here, around the theme of the mobility transition. The ratio evolution between space and time is studied in the aggregate and in terms of demographic or original characteristics.
