Notes d’épigraphie 11-12

The revision of one little known inscription from Saint-Gilles (Nîmes) allows to highlight the text of an inscription which is to connect with the Gallo-Latin epigraphy (HGL, XV, 1388). The re examination of one incomplete inscription from Narbonne, which is only known by handwritten copies (CIL, XII, 4528 and add. = HGL, XV, 490) eliminates the ghost called Fadius Vocer. The character, seuir Augustalis in the city of Aix-en-Provence, enters a family group which leads until Sex. Fadius Secundus Musa, well known in Narbonne in the middle of the 2nd century AD.La révision d’une inscription peu connue de Saint-Gilles (cité de Nîmes) permet de mettre en évidence le texte d’une inscription qu’il faut rattacher à l’épigraphie gallo-latine (HGL, XV, 1388). Le réexamen d’une inscription incomplète de Narbonne qui n’est connue que par des copies manuscrites (CIL, XII, 4528 et add. = HGL, XV, 490) élimine le fantôme appelé Fadius Vocer. Le personnage, sévir augustal dans la cité d’Aix-en-Provence, entre dans un groupe familial qui conduit jusqu’à Sex. Fadius Secundus Musa, bien connu à Narbonne au milieu du iie siècle apr.
