Starting from the observation of the ambiguity of the Irish position at the United Nations General Assembly, this study concentrates on the European sub-group consisting of Ireland, Greece, Spain, Denmark and, to a lesser extent, Portugal. It first examines the objectives, the means and the limits of European political cooperation at the United Nations, then it addresses the problems posed to Ireland by this cooperation before defining the federating themes of the above-mentioned countries in foreign affairs, their degree of concertation and the perspectives offered by this alliance to Irish foreign policy.Partant du constat d'une certaine ambiguïté dans le comportement irlandais à l'Assemblée générale des Nations Unies, cette étude s'intér...
