A large number of Gallo-Roman burials, essentially consisting of stone funerary chests, are known in Limousin. The agglomeration cemeteries generally provide a lot of burials. The countryside is strewn with isolated tombs and small cemeteries, with less than about fifteen tombs. These groups of burials occupied the same topographical cell as settlements, generally separated by a distance of 200 to 300 m.
