Practical experimentation of pottery technologies. The author, a man of Prehistory and field work, presents in a very synthetic faschion the results of three years devoted to direct experimentation of the technologies utilized by the prehistoric potters. The considerations put forward, resulting from a practical process as objective as possible, do not pretend to circumscribe the subject. They rather lead the reader in a precise orientation (in relation with the preparation of the clay, modelling, decoration or baking) to expose the complexity of the problems the potters had to face, but also to disabuse number of technical a priori. It is a source of reflexion for many of our colleagues archaeologists and ceramists...L'auteur, homme de terrain et préhistorien, présente de façon très synthétique, le résultat de trois années consacrées à l'expérimentation directe des technologies employées par les potiers préhistoriques. Les considérations avancées, à partir d'une démarche pratique la plus objective possible, n'ont pas la prétention de faire le tour du sujet. Elles entraînent plutôt le lecteur dans quelques directions précises (se rapportant à la préparation des pâtes, au façonnage, à la décoration ou à la cuisson) pour rappeler la complexité des problèmes qui se posaient au potier, mais aussi pour démythifier nombre d'à priori techniques.
