The Gallo-Roman site of La Calotterie was excavated in 1973, which allowed the discovery of 1 5 furnaces and 3 refuse dumps with a great deal of common pottery : plates and round or carinate bowls, cooking pots, truncated cone-shaped vases, and bottles essentially. Ornaments are numerous and made of smoothed and combed bands, of incisions and excisions, of guilloche. All these items seem to follow precise rules corresponding to different sizes.
