Problèmes herméneutiques dans l'interprétation du Cantique des cantiques

This article reviews about twenty recent publications devoted to the interpretation of the Song of Songs, from the Church Fathers and Mediaeval writers (monographs on patristic exegesis, translations of patristic and mediaeval commentaries, anthologies) up to modem exegetes (O. Keel, A. LaCocque, Tr. Longman III, G. Barbiero, Y. Zakovitch and Y. Simoens) with a look at the Targum of Canticles (recently translated into English) on the way. The panorama of interprétations is very varied. The Song of Songs offers an ideal observation ground for the relationship between the Biblical text and its reader.Cet article rend compte d'une vingtaine de publications récentes consacrées à l'interprétation du Cantique des cantiques, depuis les Pères de l'Église et les Médiévaux (monographies sur l'exégèse patristique, traductions de commentaires patristiques et médiévaux, anthologies) jusqu'aux exégètes modernes (O. Keel, A. LaCocque, Tr. Longman III, G. Barbiero, Y. Zakovitch et Y. Simoens) en passant par le Targum du Cantique (récemment traduit en anglais). Le panorama des interprétations ainsi offert est très contrasté. Le Cantique offre un terrain d'observation idéal du rapport entre un texte biblique et son lecteur.Auwers Jean-Marie, Wénin André.
