Abstract. - Continental slopes of passive margins are the most persistent physiographic province from rifting periods to open ocean phase. Thought, models that describe them according to their age do not explain accurately their morphology : either they introduce cycles, either they neglect structural diversity. The morphological originality of these slopes appears better by pointing out feed back effects between structural evolution and sedimentary dynamics.
