L'atlas régional, outil de décision en matière de gestion intégrée du littoral (The regional atlas tool of decision concerning integrated management of the coast)

Abstract. - A global management of the coastal zone can be obtained only through a large concertation between all the groups using the shoreline. This concertation is fair only if all delegates are equally able to understand all the data. The best way is to provide each member of the working group with a regional atlas. The initial content is only informative, with raw data, but with the progress of discussions, additional plates will be added, with the successive states of the propositions. Finally, the atlas will be the graphic expression of the plan of management, and its constant updating will provide the basis for the future updating of the plan itself.Résumé. - On ne peut parvenir à une gestion intégrée, c'est-à-dire prenant en compte les intérêts de tous les usagers et n'en lésant aucun, que par des procédures de concertation qui exigent que tous les participants soient égaux devant l'information. Le meilleur moyen d'y parvenir est de rassembler celle-ci dans des atlas de faible coût et de petit format, dont le contenu, uniquement informatif au départ, sera complété, au fur et à mesure des progrès de la concertation, par l'expression cartographique des décisions prises collectivement. Après la mise en service du plan de gestion intégrée, une mise à jour permanente de l'atlas permettra de préparer les révisions du plan.Pinot J.-P.
